Spaceship Earth?

I don't see anyone mentioning this ride.
Is this any good?

It's a great ride, possibly the most ridden ride in WDW. (Mainly because it has a HUGE capacity.) But, it's a good attraction...typical Disney dark ride with plenty o'animatronics. (And Rome burning. )

This ride is one of our family's favorites...it's a nice ride to go on both to learn, and relax, as it's in the dark and the ride is relatively smooth, except for occasionally ride stops to let disabled passengers get on/off.

don't go expecting a thrill. go expecting an uplifting trip thru time. i just love this attraction. don't let that description fool you though, my son loves it. so very disney to him. would (and have) gone on over and over again and hope it stays for the long course. the music at the end as you are decending (with the lights flowing in sync with the tempo of the music) brings tears to my eyes. so beautiful.

Our family rides it each year. The kids like it (11,9,7) and we get a moment to sit and relax.

DD5's favorite ride... at least until the last trip when she was tall enough for Test Track. Now it's her second-favorite ride...

My DH and joke about it because he always falls asleep on the ride, so it's good naptime for him. Our whole family loves it, and we go on it multiple times each trip.

Last time the ride stopped right before we reached the top (medical emergency at the loading point). We wound up evacuating and walking all the way down on the inside. Got a great picture of my daughter sitting next to some statues in the Renaissance... Not quite as magical inside when all of the emergency lights come on...

All in a all a nice, slow, relaxing ride, perfect in the middle of the hot day. Just avoid it when you first come in the park. I think a lot of people ride it first since it's the first thing they see, and there's always a line in the morning. We ride in the afternoon and have NEVER stood in line behind more than a few people (since it's a continually loading ride the line moves fast).

It is a classic and we do it everytime because of the nostalgic feelings it brings us more than for the ride its self.

We love it!! Usually we ride it 2 or 3 times while we're there. In fact, anytime we walk by it and the lines aren't too long, we go on.

I enjoy this ride but I always think the audio is too loud. The speakers are in every headrest so it doesn't need to be loud.

DH would say that it is his FAVORITE ride!!! The rest of us enjoy it as well. It gives you a chance to get cool, dry, rest. . .whatever you might need at the moment. . . . EXCEPT a bathroom!!!

I love Spaceship Earth. It's among my favorites simply because it is relaxing and not a thrill ride. It's a "must" for us whenever we go to Epcot.

This is one of those can't miss rides. We do it every trip.

It is such a trademark of EPCOT. DD still calls it the AT&T ride - as I work for AT&T - and that is how she knew it until the sponsorship ended....

It is usually our leaving the park ride - or as others' have said a great mid-day - close your eyes for a few minutes ride!

I still notice things in each scene that I had never noticed before (could that be because sometimes I close my eyes???)

First time we took DS he was 5 and he rode it 17 times. I am not kidding.
We go back in October for the first time since that glorious trip. He is now 17 and is planning on breaking his record.

Classic WDW ride. We ride it at least once every trip.

Like IASW at MK, its one of those rides that "You're not at Disney until you've done...." . Last year there were all sorts of horrible rumours about it closing so I rode it 4 times in one trip...just in case.
