When is Space opening at Epcot???

Mission: Space will open sometime during 2003. That's all Disney is saying.

Nope. You're right. I saw it under construction back in July of 2001. It looked about half way completed at the time.

For what it is worth (probably not much) we just go back today. We asked a worker while we were there, and she told us they were having problems and it likely would be late 2003 before it would be open. It was funny because her supervisory came running over and told us they were not having problems they were just correcting a few minor things. This was not good news for my son since we are going back in June, and he was hoping it would be open then.

It was also well under construction in July 2002. If it is open in 2003, I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. I remember going in 1997 expecting to see TEST TRACK open, because a lot of publications said it would be that year....and it was not close to being done. It turns out, it is a nice attraction. Anyway, it looks like it will be a good ride. Hopefully, they will finish it soon!
