trying to load vid

I was at work last night & didn't get to see it. DH saw it & said it was spectacular, and we live about 2 hours west of KSC. He said it was as good as being right there (which we have been), only you didn't get the ground shaking event. He said you could even see the fuel tanks separating and falling away from the shuttle. Amazing!!

taken in the front of my house in Jacksonville. The video i took is awesome the pic dose no justice, but loading it to my photo bucket is giving me problems. Dose anyone no how to load a video right from your pc to a thread?

I found that Photobucket has some severe size limitations regarding videos. Have to use YouTube for larger stuff.

:cool1: I tried to hold my monitor still so I could watch it but it did not help.:thumbsup2

There is nothing like a shuttle lift off if you can ever go see one. I have to figure out how to transfer the ones I have on tape to my computer and then to DVD.

I think it was last summer, I was at Reliant Energy Power Plant right across from KSC and a shuttle launch took place around 1800. It was cool but from the cape all you see after liftoff is the flame. A couple years ago we were at Arabian Nights and got to see a really nice view. I'm more impressed from further away. Last night was one of the best I've seen. I've never seen the fuel rockets fall away. Very good launch.

This is a pic I took last night. This was standing in my backyard. We are in SW Florida, it was a great sight!!

LOL well that was after at least 10 beers and i also was trying to walk away from the wife she just kept gabbing LOL

This was the picture we took on our way home last night...I actually could see the separation and both of the solid rocket boosters come back down to Earth for close to 3 minutes after separation. In all the years I have been watching (and I have seen the good and worst of them all), that is the clearest I have seen a launch. I just wish Chris had stopped!

The picture can never do the launch justice.

Cool! If I can find them among 20 years worth of crap we keep because of the "you never know" reason I will take you up on your offer. I need to know how to do this as I have about 20 years worth of VCR tapes to transfer.:thumbsup2

sounds like you have some searching to do!;)

it is not difficult, just time consuming...

A couple years ago we were at WDW when the shuttle was launched. It was unforgettable.
