Space Shuttle Launch Viewing

For anybody travelling in the end of August the tickets have gone up on sale for the upclose viewing of the space shuttle launch. THis is definately a 'bucket list' thing to do. Ensure you don't miss out and go and watch. If it is a clear night you may be able to see the end of the fire trail in the far distance to the East on launch night, however companies such as spaceshuttlelaunchtours dotcom offer tours to view the launch, this company will pick up in a few of the Disney Hotels as well as offers price guarentee.
Hailing from Manchester it was something I always wanted to see and when I saw the launch I was really impressed. I urge people not to miss out on this as there are only 7 space shuttle launches left!

The launch at the moment is set for the 25th August (at around 1am), however you know what the shuttle is like, it may get delayed.

As for launch tickets, if you don't want to buy them (if you are alredy on the causeway and the shuttle is scrapped you have used your ticket - like what happened twice with the last launch), the Space View park is the the next best and free place to go.

we arrive on the 25th so I hope it is delayed I would love to see a live shuttle launch.

I think we would make the effort and go if it's delayed, even though we would have to stay up late, after all it's not an every day event - well not in my town

The Space Shuttle launch is an awesome site in the day time - can only imagine night time would be better. Be wary though, you could lose a couple of days holiday chasing the take-off as delays are frequent - even in the last few minutes
