Space Mt / Star Tours

Ever? I suppose. Generally, not really. LOL! Actually Star Tours waits aren't that bad. They're usually around 40 minutes.

Lol. Dang. We are here now. We rode it earlier, but we thought maybe during the 10:45 parade it slows down. Oh well

Sometimes there is a lull during the PTN parade and the fireworks for Star Tours. Haven't seen that same lull with HSM yet.
The popularity has to be dying down soon though, right??!!

What about Peter Pan? We haven't gotten on that yet. The line has been close to an HR all day. Sure wish they had FP's for that one!!

PP is closed during fireworks. If you go over to where they close Fantasyland off during fireworks, you should see a line start to form there. When fireworks are over you can make a beeline to PP.

they usually get worse at night, if anything.

No.

Lol.
But seriously, no.

Hmm, Star Tours sometimes. Especially during a parade. I've definitely more than once said to my partner, Ryan, later in the evening, "Star Tours doesn't have a bad line, let's go!" But yeah. Space Mountain, never. Never ever.

We've gotten lucky with SM quieting down late (hour before closing or so). But it's never something to count on, more of a happy surprise.

Yes, on rare times, I've seen the line for SM get as short as 45-60 minutes at midnight.

space mountain, no way (at least not lately). you could get lucky with star tours tho. we rode it during the fireworks with only about 20 minute wait maybe? last sunday around 5:00 or 6:00, we headed over to star tours for fast passes. according to the app, the wait was 50 minutes. we got there and the wait was only 35, so we just got in line. and i don't think we even waited 35 minutes. maybe only 20-25.

You can usually ride it once if you head straight there and are near the front. The line builds very, very quickly now.

Thanks for the tip. We only have 1MM during our trip. It'll be a tough call between PP and HSM. Might just have to do the FP route for HSM. Even with an FP, how long are you still waiting in queue?

FP line is usually about ten minutes, maybe even less?
PEter Pans line also build very quickly. I would keep an eye on wait times using the app and head over to PP when you see it around 30minutes. Grab a snack and just wait it out. It's not worth the time during early entry, IMO.

That's why I LOVE early entry......you can ride space mountain sometimes 6 times straight without a wait!
I guess this depends on the day. The re-theming of the ride to the Star Wars related Hyperspace Mountain seems to have an effect at early admission crowds, at least in my experience of trying to ride it the day before yesterday. We were there just a little after 7am, and the line was 50 mins. We decided to go to Star Tours instead, but we weren't the only ones with that idea, because the line there was building fast, so we ended up doing Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters a number of time instead and used fast passes for (Hyper)space Mountain and Star Tours later during the day instead. Worked for us (though we over all rode it a lot less than 6 times, due to the fast passes going very quickly, too). Don't know, though, if this is a common thing or if they had temporary technical issues that made the queue swell so quickly. We had three-day hoppers, and that was our only DLand early admission.
