Space Mountain

I was just reading the Dis information page on EMH changes and it listed Space Mountain and TTA as being open for morning EMH. I thought they were closed for the summer.

Hmm... someone missed that. Both closed about a week or so ago. TTA is scheduled to reopen in August, and SM in November (if all goes according to plan).

They did make changes to AM EMH as a result of the closure... can't find it now, but they added a couple of attractions to the list that aren't normally open.

Mouseplanet has pics of a closed Space Mountain and arcade. It must be a typo.

I can tell you first hand that SM was closed as of 4/19/09. I am excited to see what they have planned when it reopens!

Thanks I was confused it is kinda bummer not to have Space Mountain to look forward to. I wish they could teave TTA open so we could watch thw progress on Space Mountain.

Morning Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom

Starting April 23, Liberty Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland will be included in Morning Extra Magic Hours.

I'd assume it will stay this way until SM is back up and running towards the end of the year.

The wife and I were there on 4/21/09, and it was closed, hopefully they'll have it re-opened for our trip in late October.

We're hoping SM opens early too (we'll be there in early Nov), but as of now the rehab schedule has the reopen date at 11/21.

On the plus side TTA is scheduled to reopen 8/24.
