Can anyone tell me is space mountain a rollercoaster type ride or more of a simulator :confused3

It's a rollercoaster inside a building, not like Star Tours which is purely a simulator. I haven't been on SM:M2, so I don't know how intense it is now though.

It is a roller coaster and it is fab! Not as good though as the Aerosmith rollercoaster IMO. Abit scarey but worth it!!!

I've only been on it the once. Definitely one for the thrill seekers :scared1:

Quite intense & can bump your head around. Tons better than Space Mountain in Florida

Hi is it like space mountain in Florida rather than mission space at Epcot any ideas

It is a rollercoaster so I would most say that is like Rock and Rollercoaster at MGM in Florida. You get shoulder restraints and you do go upside down in it. It is certainly more intense than the Florida Space Mountain.

:scared1: Thanks as long as its not like mission space at Epcot I felt sick for ages after that:scared1:

duration 2:13 minutes

max. speed 70 km/h

inversions
loop
barrel roll
tongue loop (aka a horseshoe)

Spacemountain (2) is a very themed attraction that creates a real feeling
when you are inside the building and also on the ride.
It has a digital (onboard) sound system and even a subwoover
below every seat!

The building is also very different compared to all the other Space Mountains.
