We are going the week before Memorial Day. On our trip last month, my DD had to miss Space Mountain because the line was just too long, and the FP was too far out. Tomorrowland is always our third "land" as we have to do Fantasyland first, then Frontierland, and then we skip over to Tomorrowland.

My dilemna is this. We have always gone during Value Season before and never experienced having to miss a major ride due to FPs being all gone. I'm concerned that by the time we get to Tomorrowland on this trip - won't be until around 6:00, that the FPs will be all gone. The next day we had planned to go to AK and then back to MK in the afternoon - probably around 5:00. So, again, I'm concerned about FPs being gone for Space Mountain on that day as well.

So, here's my thought. If this is indeed a possibility, would I be better off on the second day going to MK first and finishing up, then going to AK, and then going back to MK in the evening (Spectro is that night, and we want to see it). Sounds like a lot of time waiting for busses to me, so which plan do you think would work better?

We were there last year the week before Memorial Day and it was not crowded at all. We got to MK around 5 on Sat. May 17th, we had 6:30 PS's at LTT. We were able to ride Space Mt., Buzz, and HM before we ate! I was amazed. I had told the grandchildren that we would probably not get to ride anything.

The rest of the week was great, I don't think we had to wait longer than 15 min. for any rides.

We left on Friday so don't know if it got crowded for the start of the Memorial Day weekend.

Hope this helps.:D

Personally, if it was something I knew needed to be done, I'd be there for the rope drop and be part of the Space Mountain Sprint (or whatever it's called). This is what DH ddid when DD was too little to ride.

He would go do that, and often times DD and I would get to do Buzz, Atstro Orbiters, Peter Pan and Small World, (sometimes even Pooh & Snow White!) in the time it took him to do that! It worked out great for all of us.

Or try to go during Spectro. Although I have never tried it, I have read in several places that ride lines are much shorter during parade times.

Good luck!
