How bad are Space Mountain Spash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and EE I get the feeling the kids (my sister's triplets) will not let me wimp out of these as I usually do. They like seeing me on roller coasters, little monsters.

:scared1: :dance3:

Of the four splash is the mildest. Not a coaster, but log flume. The last drop is a little steep and quick but a lot of fun. Thunder monutain adn space mountain IMO are in the same catagory. Space seems faster becuase it's in the dark. But they are really mild as far as coasters go. Now EE on the other hand is a roller coaster. Big drops and some pretty good speed,(did I mention it goes backwards) and can be a bit much if you are not a coaster fan. Try them all and at the least you'll give your sisters kids some great memories!:thumbsup2

I'd say that Big Thunder was the mildest out of them all, IMO. No real sudden drops, none in the dark (like Splash has) and I've seen plenty younger children try this and enjoy it.

Then I'd go for Splash Mountain as the next, followed by Space Mountain and then EE! As the PP mentioned, EE is a proper rollercoaster, dips, turns, backwards, steep hills the lot!! Still, very enjoyable!! I found the most scary part to be the initial climb, as you can see EVERYTHING Disney has to offer :lmao: The hill is rather steep, but it's a wonderful view on a clear day!!

I've done them all, so it's easy for me to tell you to give them a go, but I suppose you'll be best making your own mind up once there. I'm sure the triplets will drag you on there anyway, so maybe you won't have that much choice once it comes to it anyway :rotfl:

Enjoy your trip! :thumbsup2

I would save EE for last. I'd do Splash b/c it's not really a rollercoaster at all.

As for the coasters, I'd do Thunder, Space and EE in that order. Think of space mountain as thunder mountain in the dark.

People seem to have the least problem with log flumes, so I would say Splash Mountain is probably the easiest.

I usually tell frightened friends to just remember how fast Space Mountain is actually going (roughly 25 mph at its fastest) during the ride. They say the ride "magically" slows down when they think about it. Same thing with Big Thunder Mountain. Once you've got those two under your belt, Expedition: Everest will feel like more of the same.

With all four, you might consider using the time on the ride to concentrate on the detailing put into them. There's alot going on with the theming at BTMRR and Expedition: Everest, there are some great details at Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain tells the a cute story.

big thunder is very very fun not really scarey at all. space mountain as stated just seems faster cuz its in the dark.. keep in mind the monorail goes faster! have a great trip!

Yes, I know how you feel Paula. My two DS's like to see me suffer  and are insisting I go on EE for the first time next visit.

I hate that dropping stomach feeling and found with Big Thunder Mountain I didn't get it at all :woohoo: ; with Splash Mountain I got it on the smaller drop which happens before the big drop that you can see at the end :thumbsup2 ; and as far as Space Mountain goes I was so terrified I didn't know if I was dropping or :faint: .
I just know I hated it and wouldn't go on it again. :scared1:

Big Thunder Mountain: A wild train ride or shall we say "The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness!":thumbsup2 This ride is an awesome coaster with no loops or anything, just a fast train ride with protection! Don't miss it!

Splash Mountain: The theming is wonderful as is the drop at the end, so mild though so you will be fine!:hyper:

EE: Goes backwards in the dark and goes pretty fast. My dad didn't want to do it and he tried it once, STILL didn't want to do it!:rotfl2: I would just try it once...

Space Mountain: Fast paced coaster with a few drops but no loops, etc. like real roller coasters. It is over fast so I would try it once and see if you like it!

JUST TRY THEM ALL! If you don't like it don't go back on but I doubt that you won't like them...

They are not that bad at all,

I have never been on BTMR before but Splash Mountain and Space Mountian are so so much fun!!!

Splash Mountain also has a ton to look at between the drops and some fun songs. Big Thunder also has a lot of scenery and doesn't have any big drops. Space Mountain while slow is also very bumpy and my neck usually hurts when I get off. EE is very smooth, but fast, it's a typical "new" coster.

I didn't know EE goes backwards. That's a bummer... I can get carsick backing up. :lmao:

How long does it go backwards?

EE goes backwards for about 1/4 of the middle of the ride.

I'm not a drop fan myself, but I LOVE EE, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Rock-n-Rollercoaster!

I really don't like Splash Mountain at all! I can't relax and enjoy the ride because the entire time I'm dreading that slow, fear-inducing climb up inside the mountain, followed by the horrific drop down, and then a wave of water over me to top it all off. I don't know why, but I just hate it.::yes::

(I still sometimes ride it though, for my family.)

DW HATED Big Thunder and would never try Space much less EE or the not mentioned RNR. She would do Splash unless it was too cool & she didnt want to get wet.

Don't do Thunder if you get motion sick. My mom tried it and it was so jerky that she got really sick. She almost threw up in the bushes afterwards and had to go back to the hotel and get in bed for the rest of the day until her head stopped spinning!! :scared1:

But, my 7 year old loved it. :)

I can do Mission Space but roller coasters turn me into a big wimp.

I used to love all the coasters when I was younger, but become more chicken the older I get! I have not done EE yet, but will have to try it this October. All of us in my family love THunder Mt! It's our favorite. Splash Mt. is not bad at all, the Song of the South aspect of the ride makes that one big drop worth it! It's a great ride. I don't find Space Mt. bad either, I think the worst part of it is that's it's totally dark. Well, maybe that's not such a bad thing! Ha! I really think you'll be fine on any of them.
