Space Mountain Question

I received the Disney theme park planning DVD and on it they said that Rockin Space Mountain would only happen from January through April of this year. I had been under the impression that it was a permanent change. Is Space Mountain still the Rockin Space Mountain - or is something different with it now than what they did to it from Jan - April?

As far as I know, it ended in April. I haven't heard anything about extending or re-instating it.

The Mission:Impossible-esque track was on last weekend, and the California Screamin' original track was back too.

I didn't mind Higher Ground at Space Mountain, but I am happy to have the Disney music back at Screamin'.

Thank goodness it is over. I do not care for Red Hot Chilipeppers at all. Give me the original ride over Rockin' any day.

I am happy it switched back to the standard soundtrack while I didn't mind the music I hated how "bright" they made Space Mountain.

the Space Mt makeover was okay. I prefer the old one.

Screaming, i like the rocking one mainly because i cant even hear the original one. the Rocking is loud and well placed.

The last few times, before Rockin', I felt that way about Screamin's soundtrack, as though the speakers were broken or off or something.

Last weekend though you could here it all very well.

While I much prefer the original Space Mountain, I did enjoy the Rockin' version. It was kind of cool to be able to see the track and I think the soundtrack was a pretty good fit. Now if only they'd bring back the flying chocolate chip cookies...
