Space Mountain goof....

So has anyone seen the new promo video on Disneyland.com for the "new" Space Mountain? They show clips from Mission: SPACE at Epcot, it is like blatantly obvious that it isn't Space Mountain..... I laughed out loud when I saw it!

I read your post and then went to take a look. At first, it was just clips from the queue and pre-show. I thought, "that's not too bad." But, then, they show many clips of guests riding Mission:Space, including reaching out to activate the mission buttons. That's pretty bad. C'mon Disney, shame on you.

It is amazing to me how they thought no one would notice. The entire clip has the two rides meshed together.

That is pretty bad. You can clearly see that they are wearing harnesses in some of the video and when you ride Space you only have the lap bar.

thats so funny I just saw the commercial last night and I was wondering what I saw since it looked nothing like Space Mountain old or new, I haven't been on Mission: Space (daughter not tall enough yet on the last trip out) so I didn't make the connection that they showed a completely different ride at a completely different park!

Not having ever ridden Mission:Space, I remember seeing the commercial and thinking to myself "are we talking about the same space mountain?" It's really a stretch!
