heylo!

i havent been to disney in years but i do remember when i went on space mountain last, it didnt scare me senseless like most rollercoasters do lol but before i go on it again without fully remembering what goes on (im reallllly picky about rollercoasters lol im too chicken for 98% of them lol) does space mountain have any big drops? thats what i hate..the free falling feeling. i can deal with anything else but big drops scare me sooo much lol so i just wanna make sure i know what to expect if i go on it again next month

and also, how much $ do y'all think i should bring to spend at disney? im only going to MK and only for one day (sucks, but its all i can afford/do because of my work schedule and my bfs work schedules conflicting) but im not sure how much spending cash i should bring. i know stuff at disney is pricey and im sure ill end up buying alot of food/souvenirs..do you think $250 would suffice? or..hm idk

oh! and random but i keep reading reviews saying not to ask for ketchup at the WL restaurant..what happens when you ask for ketchup? lol

there aren't any HUGE drops in space mountain - it is more twists and turns - it is a pretty tame coaster!!

I think you would be fine with $250 - do you have a money card or credit card to take as back up? For food if you do a table meal and counter meal - you will probably be around $35 - $40- and then I would allow $10 for sodas and Mickey bars!! So if you think $200 is enough for souveniers you will be fine!

There are of course some dips, but no major drops. You are completely in the dark during the majority of the ride and there are alot of left and right 90 and 180 turns that in the dark make it thrilling because they are hard to anticipate. It may seem fast but,I read it only goes something like 25mph.

For meals, counter service for two will cost around $18 for a burger and drink. table service will be $40-50 plus tip. Snacks all are around $4 each.

souveniers- t-shirts are $20-22, sweatshirts around $45. You can of course easily spend all that you are willing to bring. Bringing only $250 may be a good way to limit your spending.

sorry, cant answer your ketchup question.

Definitely ask for ketchup at the Whispering Canyon Cafe...and a straw for you soda too! No way will I spill the beans! :teeth:

There are no large drops in Space Mountain, just short quick ones. I believe all but one of the turns is to the right, but that may be just at DL.
