Space Concern??

Hello everyone. We are heading to CSR in Feb with our 2 boys, one of which is on the spectrum. This is our third trip and WDW is magic for our family and especially our son Caleb. It is the first vacation that as a family we were all able to really participate together, and so it has captured my heart. One of Calebs big needs is for down time and personal space. This has been our challenging issue in being in one small hotel room. I am wondering if it may be worth adding on a connecting room this year. I have no idea price wise what this would run us at CSR but like most of the world we need to watch our budget. At the same time we wont be going back after this trip for 2 years so I am thinking why not. Any thoughts??

An idea you might want to look into is renting points from a DVC member. If you rent enough points from the member, then you could get a 2 bed room suite with a full kitchen at a resort such as Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Bay Lake Towers, BoardWalk, Wilderness Lodge, Etc.

Two other ideas I have is the Family Suites at the All-Stars or the cabin at Fort Wilderness. I would check the price of all including adjoining rooms at CSR and see which might be more affordable for your budget.

I agree with peemagg.
It is difficult to get personal space in a single hotel room. There are also no guarantees that you will get a connecting room, so your best option might be to get a room that allows some space without needing to worry about getting a connecting room.

This is having two rooms that connect. There's like a kids room and an adult room. Bunk beds are in the kiddy room. There are two bathrooms which I feel is very helpful. This may be your cheapest option.
