Hi! My 60 days out is coming up. My white whales will be a Space 220 lunch and an Ohana dinner. My plan is to wake up 4:45a Central time and have my iPad and iPhone ready. Is it faster to use the Disney app, and filter right away for HS, or just quickly scroll? I would love any tips! And is it true it opens up 6a Easter? TIA

Some dining opens at 5:30 am EST (so 4:30 am CST). Space220 opened at 6 for our March trip, but last Nov it opened at 5:30 EST. I booked an after dessert party at 5:30 am for our upcoming trip. Other parties didn't open till 6 am. Other people reported treats and seats opening at midnight (Up Close with Rhinos as well).

Don't filter for anything (that feature won't work when the system gets overloaded), but you can try. Open each restaurant screen on a separate tab and have the app open (and preferably another device). Also, if you don't see your dates don't panic. Go to myplans page so the app/website checks that you have tickets and then go to the restaurant screen and click 'check availability'. I never saw my dates highlighted until I clicked the check availability tab and scrolled through the calendar. As a backup, if you're on a desktop you can also type in a date when you check for multiple restaurants on the orlando area restaurants screen. This screen will most likely freeze on one device when a lot of people log in, so have backup plans. Credit card should be on your profile already set to go. If you get stuck beyond the select party screen, don't loose hope, click the back button (up to the select party screen) and it holds the reservation for you for a few minutes.

Space220 will most likely only be available 60+6 days out, so book that first. Ohana isn't as in demand given recent bad reviews, but I would book it second. Story book dining and Topolinos breakfast have been challenging. Flying fish and steakhouse only showed 4 seaters. Space220 lounge showed 2 seaters even when they had multiple available (I couldn't book for 4 at 60+7)

Isn’t this whole thing ridiculous! Thank you for your very helpful reply!! One thing…when you say have tabs open is that on the MDE website, and not the (Dis 50th) app? So I should do this on my iPad or a desktop?

I used the app earlier this week when my window opened and it worked fine. Some have reported issues though. I can’t speak to Space 220 other to to say good luck. It seems really difficult.

For ‘Ohana I was able to get 8.30 on my 60+2 day. There was nothing 60 days out and only 4pm or 9.40pm on 60+1. (Who eats dinner at those times? Lol). ‘Ohana is hard to get but not impossible for people staying on property who are up early when their window opens and don’t need it the first or second day of their trip.

I had the "get your multiple tabs open in advance" system in place this Wednesday morning and it didn't work for me too well. I think the Disney server itself gets wonky, it's not you! I had to load and reload and also just open new tabs. Some worked, and some didn't, and then I switched browsers too once everything really fell apart around 20 minutes in, and that helped. But I got it to work good enough to get some ADRs! Some I wanted and some I didn't know I wanted, haha! My biggest tip is BE FLEXIBLE AND PATIENT. There is no need to be stressin', especially when you can call this your starter plan, and then keep checking, use the dining reservation services, and when you are there be ready to snag last minute cancellations each night. One way or another, it will work out! RIGHT???? That's what I keep telling myself :) You'll eat early or late, or somewhere different, and it will be fine! I try to see it as a chance to try new things and have a new experience.

FWIW, the system allowed me to see my 60+5 a few minutes before 6 am, but wouldn't let me make any reservations. It was only after 6 am that it actually worked.
