Are they limiting seating to maximum of four at a table at the Space 220 Lounge? We're a part of 5 and would prefer to sit together.

We have the same thing, 5 of us

someone here suggested booking for 6 as you won’t get charged if someone “no shows”

Do you already have a reservation? It appeared when I made one in December that the largest party size they'd book for the lounge was 4. If that is the case, a party of 5 would have to split reservations for 2 and 3, and would not be guaranteed to sit together at one table (they don't have tables larger than 4 tops in the lounge and I've been there twice and never seen them push tables together for larger parties). December we had a party of 8 on two reservations and were at different tables.

Apparently…. There are no 220 lounge tables bigger then 4. So you would need to book two tables and split up. Or reserve the restaurant.

I was able to get a 5 person Space 220 reservation for April. I didn’t have to split our group.

for the lounge? Or the regular restaurant seating?
We went in September and there were 8 of us and we were all sat together in the regular seating area (all under one reservation). Unless they changed it from when around they first opened :confused3

was this for a lounge? I gave up our reservation for 5 at the restaurant (flight change cut 3 park hours) on April 2nd to get Topolinos but the screen froze. I gave this up just a couple of days ago. MDE wouldn’t let me select Topolinos when it gave the option to select between both. Topolinos was Still available and I clicked it after giving up Space but MDE logged me out and I logged back in, clicked on the available time again and then it logged me out again and asked for a code. 4-5 clicks and it still wouldn’t go through.

We were able to get a reservation for five for lunch at the restaurant but really wanted to get one for the Lounge. I tried to get one reservation each splitting our group into a 2 and 3 per table but no availability. The restaurant menu doesn't appeal to us especially at their fixed price but really want to check out.

for the restaurant or the lounge?

sounds like the max at the lounge is for a party of 4 and we are 5. Curious, If we try to split ourselves into 2 reservations (party of 3 and party of 2), can we do it all on the same MDE (account),howwouldwe actually do it?

I haven’t seen any reservations even for 4 for the lounge when I booked for 60+7 days (multiple tables for 2 available am/pm). I could only get a reservation for 2 at different times (the system doesn’t combine). Our flight got preponed so will have to give them up, but I’m looking for earlier reservations 4/2.

I gave up a lunch reservation for 5 for the restaurant and couldn’t pickup Topolinos despite clicking and logging in multiple times (it was available).

You can, but not sure you can if you already have the reservation. The way to do it is to make someone else the lead on the initial reservation and then you can make another with your name as the lead. If you already have a reservation have someone else in your group try for another reservation (if no one has a separate MDE account not sure it’s possible)

Your best bet is the $6,500 50th Anniversary tour. Not only does it guarantee you a table at Space 220 but you get a "special treat". Well worth the cost. :)

I had the same question as in the initial post, but it sounds like (as mentioned above) the tables in the lounge max out at 4 and this isn't one of the place where they're known to push tables together. So it sounds like split reservations is the only option for the lounge.
