I believe the only time answer to this would be yes is if one of the kids is under 3. The goal for these pre fixe is to make sure anyone going who gets the experience is paying. It may not be perfect for everyone but it’s one of the areas I don’t really fault Disney for.

This would only work if one child was under age 3. Otherwise, you pay per person whether they all eat or not.

If it were me, I'd order the side dish and then give it to (or share with) the little under 3.

Book the lounge instead of restaurant. That way you can order whatever you feel like from the menus.
