My girls (16 and 12) are both Disney adults, but still like their kid meals. On Space 220, being fixed price.. how does it work if they want the kids meals?

They will likely be able to order from the kids' menu, but they will charge you the adult price.

Thanks. I should re-state. My 12 year old will be all over the adult meals. She’ll go straight for the steak, will probably not want any of the appetizers. It’s the 16 year old.. she still eats a diet of Mac n cheese, chicken fingers, and pizza.

If one wants to order from the childs menu, she can, but will pay the adult price fixe menu price.

we order off the kids menu at FS restuarants and they usually provide an adult portion of the kids meal, and charge more. We are fine with this. At fixed price ones, I would think the same, charge adult price and bring you a larger kids food meal. Enjoy!

If a kids meal from the main restaurant menu is ordered by a Disney adult from the lounge, do I still get to pay adult pricing for a larger size or is that a potential ‘workaround’?

also, do all members of the party have to order something? Perhaps those of the party that like the more basic stuff can just grab something elsewhere after we are done.

I may try for lounge res regardless just to have more options. No real difference between the two other than perhaps ‘view’? I’m guessing with kids in my party we would be sat at a table and not the bar?

I think at the lounge you can order what you want. If you just want a drink you can get one. My grandkids eat practically nothing so we were fortunate enough to get lounge reservations. My son just wants them to experience it.

In the lounge, no. In the prix fixe restaurant, yes. You will be charged the price per person for every person you bring into the restaurant, regardless of what or how much they eat. In the lounge, you have much more flexibility for ordering, although, you still have to be ready to pay an adult price for the teen's kids' meal, so you may prefer to order that child something off the lounge menu or just a beverage.

At prix fixe restaurants they will happily serve a double-sized kids meal at the adult price.
Good to know! The only thing we can get our 14yo autistic son to eat at TS places is fries which is why we travel w a lot of his food. I guess I’ll just ask for a double portion. He’ll be thrilled. 🥰

If you order from the main restaurant lounge menu, yes, you would still pay adult pricing. And FWIW, there is no real "kids menu" in the lounge, but they have food that may be more "kid friendly" like sliders.
