How can I get a list of services available at the Saratoga Springs resort for massages???

Here is a link to the <a href="http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/waltdisneyworld/recreation/spas/spaindex?id=SPASaratogaSpringsSpa">SSR Spa Services.</a>

Enjoy!

Of prices for these treatments? We were considering a Mommy's afternoon out sometime next weekend... :)

While I don't know the rates for the Spa services, here is an exerpt from the most recent DVC email newsletter about the 30% DVC member discount at SSR Spa.

Enjoy!

Spa specials
The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort has created additional savings exclusively for Disney Vacation Club Members. For the next several months, select treatments will come with a 30% Member discount. Offering pure indulgences reminiscent of the healing spas of Saratoga Springs, New York, this wonderful facility remains open for your enjoyment during construction of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. In fact, readers of Condé Nast Traveler recently named The Spa one of the top five Destination Spas in North America and the Caribbean.

Extra Disney Vacation Club Savings - June and July 2003:

June 2003

New Aroma-Stim Hydro Bath - Excite your senses as the Aroma-Stim bath pebble bubbles away, releasing a revitalizing burst of eucalyptus, cardamon, and nutmeg. Relax as Aroma-Stim essential elixir oils are applied to your body before you're treated to a gentle scalp massage. Your experience culminates with a refreshing mist of exotic plant essence and essential oils. (50 minutes)

July 2003

Aromatic Gel Body Masque - This treatment uses a blend of seaweed extracts and purifying essential oils to stimulate your senses and help you relax. First, a contouring envelopment gel is applied, followed by a thermal wrap. The session finishes with a refreshing shower and an application of firming cream. (50 minutes)

As a Member, you can pamper yourself and your pocketbook by saving 30% on these monthly specials. You'll also receive a Member discount of 20% off all other Spa services. All discounts are applied when you present your Member Card, excluding gratuities. Discounts may not be combined.

The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. To ensure availability, reservations should be made three weeks in advance by calling (407) 827-4455. Cab vouchers are available; inquire about this free transportation to and from The Spa when you call for your reservation.

My DW had a massage and pedicure last week at SSPS and enjoyed both thoroughly. The only thing she didn't "like" was the fact that the fan was on over her during the treatments, and since she runs cold anyways, she was very cold during her visit.
You might want to check that when you go in for your treatment.

Other than that she said the spa and facilities were very nice and not very crowded, so be sure to bring a swimsuit and some books so you can enjoy your visit!!

Where is the SSR Spa located? Is it within the area of construction?

The Spa is in it's original DI location and not within the construction zone. You will see the green barricades on the way to the Spa. It is about 100 yards from the new buildings.

I have no qualms about getting to the spa at the GF, but I'm a little wary about trying to get to the spa at SSR...

Hey Nette -

from the BCV, my wife took a FREE taxi to SSR spa, and then took another FREE taxi back home. I believe the free taxi is a DVC perk!!

Oh yeah -

DVC members get 20% off the price of all other treatments (the non-30% ones) that are offered at Saratoga Springs. That was a nice incentive to get my DW to the spa too!

The free transportation is available to anyone staying at a WDW resort. I did it from AKL in March.

In March there was some construction going on outside of the lobby of the Spa. You could walk out on the deck and peek through eyeholes that had been cut in the wall. I couldn't tell what they were doing though. There was just a big graded area in front of some buildings.

We recently called and were sent a fax of the spa's offerings and prices. If you have the capability (a fax machine), this is a great way to quickly get any necessary info..

And sorry to the OP for stealing your thread.
