Spa time for Teens

I noticed on the Teen Navigators from a West Coast cruise that there was a day Teens could go into the spa. One option was for a Mother/Daughter mini facial and manicure. Do you know if this is a usual thing on the cruises? I am hoping my daughter, who just turned 13, and I will have the opportunity to do this when we cruise in August.

These were offered when we were on last year. I believe they are offered during the times in port since most people would be off the ship.

Yes, it is usual to have a spa time for teens on 7 day cruises. Sorry, I don't know about the Wonder..... Be aware that this is the only time teens can book appointments as the spa is normally "adults only." There is also a session or 2 of "teen fitness" in the fitness center--usually fairly late in the evening. There are normally some special spa packages offered for the teens and they usually get a goodie bag of samples with their appointment.

Thanks for your help. We are on the 14-day repo cruise, so I'm hoping we will have these teen days. I'll have to be on the look out for them and book quickly!

I'm not sure how they are handling the teen spa appointments, that is if they can be booked on-line. From previous posts, it sounds like some things can not be booked, and this may be one of them. They may wait to see how busy the spa is with adult ressies before they decide on the number of available spots.

I would imagine you should be able to book them now for Aug. if they are doing so on-line. Good Luck!!!

Miclen, the time for the work out was 9:00pm on 2 nights on our 7 night. It was called "pump it up" and there were limited spots. This one comes from personal experience with an argument on formal night with my ds-13 who had never "worked out" before. We had 8:30 dinner and it was almost the end of the world!!!!! Until mom saved the day with an awesome plan, of course ds never admitted this!!!!!!

Musicgirll - Thanks for the information. I've booked my spa appoinments online, but I don't think I book the teen time. I will probably just have to wait until we are on the ship and my daughter gets the teen navigator. Then I'll call the spa right away. Do they get the teen navigators in the teen club?
