I've heard that the showers, saunas, and other plumbing items at the Magic spa are in need of repair.

How are the massages?

Thanks.

I would think they would repair and replace problems in the spa during drydock..but as far as the massages Definatelty get one.

I have had a number of massages in the spa (and a cabana massage also). Some have been better than others, but all of them have been good. With massages, a lot depends on the personal style and techniques of the masseur/se. I suggest telling your masseur/se beforehand what type of massage you prefer, how much pressure, any particular body points to focus on, whether you prefer small talk or silence, etc.

Have fun!

I had planned on getting one at CC, but a coworker talked me out of that and into getting one one the ship.

I took her advice, and it was incredible! There was something simply amazing about the oh so gentle rocking of the ship while getting the massage.

BTW--She had her CC massage cut short by a sand flea infestation. :(

I love the onboard massages too. I like to combine them with other treatments, such as a seaweed wrap, reflexology, or a facial. Total decadence and bliss!!! :p :p :p

We had a couples massage once on the Wonder, which I really didn't like. The room just felt too "crowded", even with my eyes closed, plus I had to leave my wet bathing suit on. Had a regular massage on the Magic this past summer and it was much better.

Just be sure to specify how hard and it should be great.

Another good tip...if you want to avoid the "sales pitch" afterwards, just specify "no selling" when you make your reservation. We do this on Disney and other cruiselines as well, with great success.

We've had two versions of the couples massage. They were both fantastic. I also had the Aromaspa Ocean Wrap and massage, and DH had the open air Castaway massage.

It's never been less than an amazing, wonderful, outstanding, totally incredible experience. It's soothing, relaxing, and I leave feeling like a pampered princess.:teeth: princess:

YUMMY!!

Just turn off your 2-way radios. My DS decided that he needed to say hi.

They work just fine in there, LOL!
