My wife and I would like to get a massage on our 4-day cruise in October but we've never gotten one on a cruise before.

Which day is your preference?

Our itinerary is Set Sail Day, Nassau, Castaway key and then a sea day.

Also is it necessary to book as soon as I can or is there usually availability while on the the ship?

I've never had a problem booking once on board, I wouldn't do it on embarkation day as you'll be busy exploring the ship. My vote would be at night while the ship is moving, the rocking adds a nice element to the massage. Have a glass of wine before the massage and another glass or two after the massage with some fruit and cheese. If you have a verandah even better, if not that's ok, get nice and relaxed and enjoy each others company

Depending on their availability, they usually offer a lot of specials onboard so unless you're traveling during the summer or a holiday, I'd wait till onboard. The wife and I did pedicures first thing on Nassau morning as we pulled into port so it was a nice view plus it was early enough to still do other things during the day.

Any day is a good one, but we usually aim for Nassau day since we don't get off the ship then. Alternately, the sea day would be good, which I'm sure others also like.
