We are going to the California Grand 12/13 - 12/19. I have yet to try a message at the spa there. Has anyone? Are they good? Is it worth trying to get away from the boys (my hubby and 3 year old)?

It has been awhile, but my DW and I went there for our 1st anniversary. DW was pregnant at the time and she had a maternity massage, she enjoyed. The "spa" is actually in GCH's fitness center, to the left of the DCA entrance. It's run by a local day spa chain. I think they only have 2 treatment rooms and a locker rooms with dry saunas. I'm not sure what other offerings they have in terms of facials, etc, but I don't think it's quite considered extensive especially if you do spas often. I suggest if you want to "spa" it to get away from the kids, then go offsite to one of the Glen Ivy Spas (www.glenivy.com), the day spa in Brea, 10 min. north on the CA57 fwy., or the mud springs in Corona, about 30 min. away. My DW has done the Corona one with her girlfriends and swears that it's the Disneyland of spas. Have fun whatever you decide.
