We have Florida SP. We are going again in August for 10 days during the blackout time. We would want to upgrade to the regular Annual Pass ( no blackout dates). Can we do that when we arrive? We first used the passes in January. Someone said on here that you could only upgrade six months after first use. Is that true? I have also heard that it is not true. Can someone please tell me if it can be done. TIA

You can upgrade to the annual pass any time during the period that your SP is valid and you'll just pay the difference in cost between an annual pass and a seasonal pass (about $125 for an adult). However, note that this won't extend your expiration date.

You can upgrade at the ticket office at any park anytime during the year . We did that for our son last year and for my sister this year. I personally don't go when it's very hot or very crowded but they don't mind.
