Soy milk on cruise?

We are taking our first cruise in Dec 13-17 2009. My 3 year old son can't drink milk...is soy milk avalible anywhere or do I need to let them know? Thanks for the help.

If you fill out the medical form that can be found in the DIS DCL FAQ thread this will put your request on record. DCL is great with working with dietary needs.

I saw "Silk" on the bar at Beach Blanket Buffet. It was up there next to the other little cartons of 1%, 2% whole milk, and chocolate milk.

Do make arrangements, don't leave it to chance.

I know you can buy the cartons of Silk that don't have to be refrigerated until you open them. I wouldn't want to take it with me unless it was a last resort.

I'd let Disney know in advance, but as I recall others have posted that with notice they got either soy, rice and almond milk on board because they had allergies to either milk, or soy, or rice or almond milk.

I've been on three cruises and there has always been soy milk, and we never told them ahead of time.

If it was a buffet, just asked a cm, same at dinner.

REally no problem at all.

My DD drinks only Soy also and it was not a problem. The only thing is sometimes at dinner they might not have it immediately handy and have to go an find it at another location. Might want to ask the first thing when you sit down.
