OK...How much do you usually spend on ship and castaway cay
souviners? It is just myself and ds (7)....would $250 be enough or am I not even in the ballpark??? We will be in Nassau and I have alotted money for that, but am curious as to what is spent on board and on cc......

Depends on what you want, but if you don't go overboard you should be fine with the amount you have chosen.

Are you including the cost of pictures at Shutters in your $250? On our 7 day cruise, for two adults and two kids, we spent $219 on pictures alone!

Hi Mickeyboat...I had figured in about $150 for the pictures on ship..being a single mom that gets no child support I am on a budget--but still want to have the time of our lives!!! The $250 was just for I GOT TO HAVE IT'S!!!! If you know what I mean...shirts, scarpbook, toys and such....If it helps..we are on the 4 night cruise...Thanks for all and any help!!!

on our 3 day wonder last year we spent about $350 including drinks and excursions and extras

A dcl scrapbook is about $28 and extra packet is about $15, if that helps any. That would still give you $200 plus for shirts, etc. I would pack some sand toys from home to use on Castaway Cay--they are expensive on the island.

You should be okay with that amount.

You are welcome. You will have the time of your lives. You can keep track by checking your account at GS. They will give you a print out. Also know that you can get stuff on CC that is only available there, such as t-shirts, magnets, hats etc. Good luck.

I'm with you.....am a single mom, too, with DS (13), (getting next to nothing in child support) going on our 1st cruise ever......7-day Western. I have a few items on the must have list, but am bringing lots of film and disposable cameras. DS save somed $$ for excursions, etc., but am getting nervous about $$$ for extras myself. We have to be careful, too.
