Ok, so how does this work at FtW? Do they get sent to the front desk/check in or do they go to one of the stores? Boy it'd sure be nice to have them delivered to your site but i KNOW that isn't something they'd ever do. I always used this feature when staying DVC but never thought about how it would work at FtW.
thanks!

Last time I did was a few years ago, then it was sent to the Meadows Trading Post and was available for pick up the next day.

I would think it would work like it does at the other resorts, that the item would be sent to the resort's gift shop and you can pick it up that evening. At least that's how it worked back in 2000, the first time we stayed on property and the last trip down there.

We stayed at Coronado Springs and when we bought something in one of the parks or DTD we would tell them to send it to our resort and when we got back in the evening there would be a message telling us we had an item to pick up in the gift shop.

When we were there in December, they were delivered to the Meadows Trading Post and available the next day after 1:00pm for pick up.

That's all there is to it ! Except for figuring out how to pay for everything you bought.....:woohoo:

i assumed it would be a gift shop, just wasn't sure which one. so it's the meadows. i remember when they actually would deliver it to your room. One thing good about going so often is, i already have so much of the stuff!
thanks!

They may do that at hotels but it would hard to deliver to campsites if no one is "home".

To my knowledge they don't do that anymore at any of the resorts, you have to pick up your items at the gift shop at your resort. But wouldn't that be nice.

Yea, they store the items back in the corner of the Meadow Trading Post, when we've had items delivered we've just picked them up at the Meadow, and they go back into their store room.

Boy that sure was nice being able to have our purchases sent back to the Meadow Trading Post. That way I didn't have to worry about breaking something let alone having to carry it around all day. I was doing Christmas shopping when we went. Next day I would go on our golf cart and gather them up. :thumbsup2

No, they haven't done that for YEARS now. It was a nice perk though, of staying onsite!
