We are taking our first cruise on May 4th and I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions for souvenirs. We have 3 young children (5 yrs and under) and I want to get them (me,dh, & grandparents too) some great momentos without braking the bank. I saw one of those captain hats with mickey ears in a photo and thought that would be cute for my son. Anyone know how much those cost? Suggestions?

I had a very minimal souvenir budget for our Magic cruise, but the stuff in the store on the ship is so adorable that we spent more than anticipated.

Luckily though, my husband and son won $80 shipboard credit at who wants to be a Mousekteer so we used that for souvenirs.

My kids bought the beanie stuffed animals, mid size, that say disney cruise line, for $12. One son bought a castaway cay t shirt for $17. One bought an adorable mickey bobble head of mickey at the beach for $19 etc. I don't know how much the hats were though.

My DS's are 2 and 5. When we went last Nov. they each got a pin. They have some cute DCL pins. The grandparents bought them DCL T-shirts and Castaway Cay T-shirts. They kept the trading cards from the various shows. They thought these were very cool and they are free! This was plenty and we didn't have to carry alot of stuff home.

THey also have this very cute stuffed MIckey ship with all the main characters in their sailor outfits. I believe it was $25

Don't forget about taking a shirt or pillowcase to guest services & let all the characters sign it. I think that will make a great souvenir too.

This may seem strange, but the one thing I brought back that I look at and dream at, even after 3 trips to CC, is a small glass about 4 inches high with a stem, very pretty, from CC with the logo on it. I filled the glass with sand, only need a little, and it sits on my plate rail in the kitchen. I can look at it all the time and feel like I have a piece of CC with me.
