I'm taking my sister's 3 kids down to WDW in July and want to bring home something special for their parents.

Any original ideas since i don't just want to get them t-shirts.

I would go along with mugs or cups that they can all use during their meals and talk about their trip.
Another would be an ornament for their tree that each family member could put up for their next tree.

If it was my kids going, pictures of them having fun, meeting characters, riding rides, etc. would be my first choice by a long shot. If the CMs take an especially nice picture of the kids with a character or maybe with a good background (like the Castle or a favorite spot), I'd love to have a copy of that along with copies of whatever snaps your family takes. If you think the parents would like a Disney frame, that'd be a nice way to present the photo. If not, a regular frame would work just as well.

If they collect something specific, you could add to that collection.

I'm with Pezpam! That's what I would prefer too, PICTURES.

I've never done it, but I have read of people having silhouettes done of their children. They are paper cut outs of the childrens profiles I believe. I think you can get them done in WDW near Liberty Square. There was recently a thread about favorite souveneirs and a lot of people were mentioning these.

I was going to recommend the same thing. That is the one thing on my list of must haves from Disney.

I agree with BAYSIDE MOM with the silhouettes. I have had my 5 DD's done and I love them. You will get two, a left and right view.

These are always nice, but because the silhouette removes the expression from chid's image I suggest snapping a couple pics of the children having them done and then putting the picture on the back of the frame.

I definately agree with pictures. Maybe make them a small photo album or scrapbook with the pictures, or get a disney frame to put a good one in. (Big lots has great mickey, pooh and cinderella ones for only 5.99). The sillouettes are a good idea too, but i'd definately want pictures!

A christmas ornament from The Days of Christmas at DTD is always a nice idea. We also like to get Mickey ears with the persons name stitched on the back. That's always a hit. Snow globes are nice too. Always a picture of the family in front of the castle as a standby idea.

I agree the pictures are a wonderful idea. But another idea is the nicely packaged Disney character themed coffees they sell in gift shops. We did that one year for adults and they loved them. Said the coffee was good and the cans are so cute. I don't drink coffee but bought myself the set of 3 small cans to keep on top of my stove, just to keep a reminder of Disney out everyday! :earsgirl:
