I know if you do the volunteer work, you have the option of getting a "A souvenir mickey hat figurine and trading pins" if you already have a ticket.

I have been searching & can't find any info/pics of this. Has anyone chosen this option?

Thanks!

Someone on here posted a link to a photo and I saw it (that is what we want to use our certificates for too!) I didn't save it though so hopefully they will post it. It was nice though, I really liked it. I am just nervous with so many people getting the certificates so fast that we won't get them, we are going at Thanksgiving. I hope they still have them.

Here they are:

My sister used her Give a Day, Get a Day ticket to get the annual pass pin set, so I have some photos I took that are a bit better:

Let me know if anyone needs a detailed picture of any of these pins.

Thanks for posting! My 3 kids are AP holders and wanted to know what those looked like as that is what they are looking at.

I really, really hope they don't run out before we get there Nov. 20th! That is what my 3 girls plan on getting.

Thanks for posting! :)

How small is it? Is there a way you can put it on your hand & take a picture of it? So I can see the approx. size?

The hand-scale thing didn't work so well, but here's a picture taken with tissue box, park ticket, and the box it came in, so you can see how big that is:

Hello, could you tell me what the figurine is made of? Is it plastic and felt paper, like the real hats? Or something a bit more durable? Thank you. :)

The figurine feels very solid and heavy. I am nearly certain it is metal. It is covered with felt that is finer and nicer than the felt on the regular park hats. The bottom comes off and it is possible to store things in the hat. It comes with the pin backs stored in there. It attaches with a strong magnet that again feels extremely sturdy and durable. It's definitely heavier by far than regular ears (think paperweight). The front decal is a sticker.

When you go to the ticket window at the parks, you can check out the hat in the window before you get it.

elleherself,
Thank you kindly for the description and photos, now I know I definitely want one of these. Now to figure out which park we won't use the fastpass option at in order to get the cute ears and pins. :upsidedow

I'm really glad I could help! Let me know if anyone has any more questions. :)

I have a quick question for you, do you just have to show your AP in order to get the AP trading pins? Or when you go to will call do they give you a ticket that says you have an AP?

It's actually more like the latter. At will call my sister told them she had an annual pass, showed it to them, and they checked their system to make sure her service was verified and then gave her a card, which she took to the gift shop outside the turnstiles. They then gave her the annual pass pins there. The box says "Pass Holder" on it.

My experience was the same when I redeemed mine yesterday. Went to will call window and gave my printed voucher, photo ID, and annual pass. She typed something into the system, and then scanned my AP though a reader. Then, the screen gave her the options I qualified for. She turned her computer screen around to show me the pin hat figurine, since it's different than the ones they had on display - as an AP holder, you get 3 extra pins from the figurine they give to folks who have multi-day passes, but not APs. Once she had the figurine option selected, she gave me an orange Goofy pass, looks like a theme park ticket, and had me sign it in Sharpie marker. She told me to take that pass to the merchandise location outside the turnstiles, and they would give me the figurine. She kept my printed voucher (had quite a stack of them!). She said I was the 4th figurine voucher of the day: it was about 4pm when we redeemed, as we had already spent a full day in the park and were on the way home.

Went to the merch location, and they we so excited to give me the figurine! I was under the impression they don't give out very many of them each day, just given how excited they were that I wanted one. The woman there asked if I wanted to keep the orange Goofy pass, too, and I said yes, so she put it in the box with the figurine. They did not check ID or my AP at the merch location.

The figurine also comes with an authentication certificate. I love it! Really makes me feel good about doing the volunteer work, and gives me a reminder to keep giving back to the community.

I just redeemed mine at Disneyland. I do not have an annual pass there but do have an annual pass for WDW. They would not accept the annual pass for florida in California for the annual pass figurine. At DL resorts you have to go into DCA to redeem your voucher for the pin figurine.

I wonder has Disney stated how many of these they have to give away??Or if they will announce when they are gone?? I would like to use my voucher to get these in July but if they run out, it will be nice to already have my FP plan.
