I wasn't sure where to post this question, but I thought since this is the Budget Board and we are on a budget, maybe someone can help.

For my daughter's 1st birthday, we are doing a Walt Disney World themed party. The decorations will be WDW inspired, the games will center around WDW rides e.t.c. Each child gets a "1 Day Hopper Pass" and gets to go to each of the 4 theme parks + a water park. In each "park" they will get to play games that are inspired by actual rides in that park. After the guests play each game, they will receive "money" to purchase WDW or Disney World souvenirs.

That leads me to my question: Where can I find WDW souvenirs or Disney related items at a discounted price? I say discounted because we are on a tight budget for her party and I can't spend too much. However, I would like to give the guests a variety of items that they can "purchase".

I wish that I had come up with the theme for her party when I was in WDW in May. That would make things so much easier right now. :D

Any ideas or suggestions that you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day!

You could make some things too. What about Mickey ear rice crispy treats? Stickers on the computer? Pins made with that foam rubbery stuff? (The craft store has all sorts of inexpensive supplies)

I'd say the dollar tree also. The have small figurines in the toy section along with pooh characters and mickey and friends key chains (usually behind the registers in my local store) Sounds like a neat party!! :D

If you have a Disney Store near you, check there. They are having tons of stuff on sale for cheap!!! I also believe I saw where KMart had their Disney stuff on sale, too.

The Disney Store has a whole bunch of their "magic towels" on sale right now for 62 cents a piece. That would make a great, inexpensive "souvenirs".

Thank you for your ideas! I went to the Disney Store today and bought quite a few fun things for 75% off! Plus, I went to our local dollar store and picked up a few things there as well. If you have anymore ideas, please let me know! Thanks again!
