Souvenir/Gift Ideas

Hi! I am traveling to WDW for my Disneymoon next month and I am looking for gift/souvenir ideas. I am looking for special souvenirs for us to commemorate our Wedding/Disneymoon, but I am also looking for gift ideas for our wedding photographer. She is a family friend that is not charging us for her services, so we would like to get her a gift as a thank you.

Some facts about her… She is a fan of Disney and her favorite character is Goofy. On my last trip in 2014, I got her a Goofy mug and pen to thank her for helping me make my custom shirts. I am looking for something more this time. I was thinking of making up a basket of all different goodies. Here are some ideas that I had so far:

Mad Tea Party mug – I am thinking of getting her a gift certificate to a local tea room that she likes, so the mug could tie into that theme. Also her current Facebook picture is her riding the Mad Tea Party ride at WDW. I saw these mugs on a “coming soon” post on the Disney Blog last year; does anyone know if they are still selling them and if so, where?

Basin Bath Items – I was also thinking that something from Basin in DS would make for a nice gift, but I am completely clueless as to what to get, as I’ve never been to one of their stores before. Does anyone have any favorites that they could recommend?

Sweets – I was thinking of getting something from Goofy’s Candy Company to add to the basket. Does anyone have any other favorite treats that they like to bring home from WDW? I’m looking for something that will travel well (We are flying, but it will be kept in my carry on). DS is our last stop before we catch the Magical Express to the airport, so items from there would probably stay the freshest.

Those are the only ideas that I’ve come up with, so any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA!!

Love the idea of the Mad Hatter tea set + a tea gift certif. You might also see if there's any exclusive/LE Goofy merch while you're there-- it's Halloween so they'll probably have some Halloween stuff that's for a limited time. I really like stuff like that (especially delivered with some kind of notecard that can be kept with it that specifies the timeframe) so it's a little more 'special' from your trip.

For our honeymoon, I got the Minnie wedding veil ears and my husband got the Mickey wedding top hat ears. We also kept our "Just Married" buttons and had a special picture taken by a CM. When we got home, I used these items and a bunch of additional things from the trip (plane tickets, park tickets, a custom restaurant menu, etc) and made a shadow box out of all of it to decorate our home.
