we had these done too - just recently. it's $7 for each face in the picture and $9 for the frame. she cut each one in less than a minute. i love them and wish i'd taken a little video clip of her doing it.

I used to love getting them done as a kid, and now I'm doing them for my kids. And now that I know that we can get them done in WDW, I'm going to get one done this trip.

I had them done of my 2 DDs last year and can't wait to do it again this year. We had the same lady (earlier mentioned) who has worked there since the 60s! She was really quick and they came out beautiful.

Thanks to this thread we got the 3 kids done together 2 weeks ago and it looks nice. The really great thing is that you get 2 copies! One to keep and one for grandma
It was still $7 each and $9 for the frame. $30 for a great gift and a keepsake for me is a great value IMO!

If you are staying on property they can send it back to your room. If you aren't, you can wait till the end of the day (dont think they are there till closing though so you might wanna check) or you can have it held at package pickup and get it later once you get out the gates. Warning, package pickup can take a while if you leave when everyone else is!!

I actually spent almost an hr on a trip report only to have the boards go down and it didn't post!
Haven't gotten back to it but I will soon!
The surprise was priceless

I had forgotten all about these! I want to do it! You all are just awful! You spend my money for me before I even get to DLR! I would have been quite content to not know about this!

"Back in the day", they didn't have the characters for the sillouettes. Does anyone know what characters are offered? My oldest LOVES Pooh, is he offered?

Yes, they have pooh.

The last time I had them done they had a large variety - just about anybody. She rattled off a pretty long list! They have them pre-cut and then just add yours to it. The only ones they didn't have at that time were the Pixar characters, because at that time Disney didn't own the copyright to them.

I can't remember if Disney has worked something out with Pixar or not (my memory never ceases to fail me!), but if they have, then they may have started carrying those characters, too.

Does anyone else know?
