Since Southwest sometimes changes the release date it's good to know how to find this information on their site. Go to southwest.com, click on "Flight" (over on the right). That brings up a menu. In the "flight" column, click on "Flight Schedules". The schedule release date is on that page.

They are releasing through Oct 30th on Feb 19, according to their website.

For the past few years they have released the new schedule shortly after 6am eastern time. The exact time you will be able to book varies, it might be 6:10am eastern or 6:20am -- it depends on how long it takes them to get the schedule loaded.

Yes they do change the release date because just a few weeks ago they were quoting the next release date to be Feb 26 and now it is Feb 19 So keep checking.
