There are usually two( sometimes more) non-stop flights per day. Honestly I would even pay extra to fly out of Manchester. I love that airport!

Me too! Of course, I live 10 mins from it. There are daily non-stops, i've never not had a nonstop from Manchester to MCO. Going in May for about $220/pp

When my husband woke up, I told him I had spent my insomnia worrying about these flights. He was exasperated because they weren't already booked - not because the price went up, but because he was far more concerned about the flights we wanted selling out. I was tired of looking at it and told him to look at the available flights and prices.

Turns out, he would rather fly in the afternoon so we don't have to spend the night in Nashville the night before (we live 2 hours away). I wanted to fly down in the morning to get to WDW quicker, BUT the afternoon flight was at the $190 price we wanted, so that decision not only saved us Friday night hotel costs but also $22 a head for the BNA-MCO flight.

THEN, when he was looking at return flights, lo and behold, the one we wanted was back down to its original $191 cost. However, he had looked at it as if we were buying only one ticket. When you plugged in four adults, it went back to $213. So I set to work buying four individual tickets.

I bought mine for the exact price we would have gotten if I had bought them the first time I looked. Awesome! But by the time I tried to buy the second ticket, the return flight had gone back up to $213. NUTS!! So I booked the other three at that price because like I said, my husband was nervous about us not booking the flight we wanted.

SO, all told, we only spent $66 more than the original quote after changing the departing flight and scoring one bargain return flight. I can stomach a $66 rise much better than $176.

Another Manchester airport lover here, SO easy and the non-stop flights to Orlando are reasonable.

Bummer is right, but they are FAR cheaper than other airlines, none of which offer a direct flight from Nashville to Orlando.

For those flying from Manchester, was that a nonstop flight?? I check a few months ago and did not see nonstop. Figured we'd have to go to Boston.

I booked nonstop flights out of Manchester for July. They dropped as low as $92 each way. I had booked at a higher price so I now have a credit, that I unfortunately probably won't use.

I am glad that you got something you can live with. As a PP said that is the key. The airfare game is always a hard one to play. We always fly SW although out of Chicago and I generally book as soon as the fares are released. Sometimes that is the best price I have gotten other times the price has gone down and I have gotten a credits that we have used or sometimes lost. However I have always been able to get a fare that has been within my budget which is a good thing.

That flight had a single $191 seat, after which the lowest existing went to $213 - whether booking one ticket, or four.

Where are you flying from. We fly from Manchester, NH and I usually pay between $225-$250/pp

Just wait and watch. Make sure u get their emails and check your flights every time they do a promotion. We got our may flights from BNA for $88 each way after seeing only $250+rT for a long time. We did plan our trip around the flights tho, so we are flying on off days... out on thurs pm and back to BNA the following saturday. Nice long trip!

Interesting. But after reading somewhere on the internet that sometimes booking tickets one at a time is cheaper, I looked it up that way the other day, and it remained at the higher price.

We bought our non-stop flights from our airport to MCO at $139 each way. Within one week of me booking the flights they jumped up to $196 each way and have stayed at that price all the way up until now and we leave this Sunday. You are taking a big risk by waiting.

It also depends on how far away your trip is. Sometimes Southwest has fare sales that could cause you to get lower rates but that is no guarantee either. If you are 4 to 6 months out I would say wait. If you are 3 months or less out I wouldn't wait a single minute to buy them now.

We looked at SW out of MHT, PVD and JetBlue out of New England airports.

To my surprise Delta beat them all out of BOS. We got August rt. for 4 for $190 each. Try, there will be a baggage fee and parking at BOS is $, but it was close to $500 cheaper.

Thanks for the tip! You got a great deal. I just checked and a nonstop flight for our dates in August out of Bos Is $353. Definitely not a good deal at this point, especially when you add baggage and parking. Nonstop out of MHT right now is $300 and I like the times for the n/s flights better. I think I am just gonna book it. We do plan on going back in Feb so I will be able to use the credit if I book and the flight comes down. I also love that SW will give you credit if your price changes....

Just an FYI for those of you who watch fares out of Manchester, NH. JetBlue is coming to Worcester, MA in November. The prices were low a few weeks ago (nonstop to Orlando at $56 a ticket). Worcester (at least, the airport I knew years ago when I went to college around the corner) is even easier than Manchester. It use to be one hanger. I don't know how much it has grown but it's nice to have another option besides Logan.

You can get the difference credited back to you very easily.

With southwest you can easily get credit to be used within a year of the original booking. Only look if you booked with an airline that does this at no fee and I you can use the credit.
