Southwest

Hi:
Just an FYI for those of you who watch fares out of Manchester, NH. JetBlue is coming to Worcester, MA in November. The prices were low a few weeks ago (nonstop to Orlando at $56 a ticket). Worcester (at least, the airport I knew years ago when I went to college around the corner) is even easier than Manchester. It use to be one hanger. I don't know how much it has grown but it's nice to have another option besides Logan.

Worcester airport still has one hanger. Parking is pretty cheap too $42 for a week or $7 per day.

Yes - there is a link that says Change Flight. You'll enter your name & confirmation #. Then you just choose the flight and then rebook yourself on that same flight. The credit will then be issued.

What airline was it that gave you credit? How long had it been since you purchased your tickets? this is good info to know!

FWIW, Jet Blue and Alaska do this too, giving you credit for price drops without a fee. Alaska is very obvious about it (they even have an online form to do it) while I think JB has harder to find info on it.

Thanks! How does it work if you have more than one person on the reservation. We booked 2 one way flights since we are flying in and out of different airports. On our return flight, I think my husband is going to fly home a week before we do, can I rebook 2 of us on one flight and 1 on a different flight?

You should be able to. I booked my ticket and then booked the ones for my husband/daughter/son, & those 3 were on the same confirmation #. Easy peasy to get everything switched as long as you have the confirmation #s.

I am glad I read this page. I will now wait until June to buy the tickets for our trip!

ETA: I just went to look at our tickets and they have went down on some flights from $122 to $89. Saving about $130. Just wish I could buy them. Not in the budget until the summer.

Bought ours today for May trip, saved about $200 on 6 tickets with the current special from MS to MCO. $1500 for all 6.
