Hi

So I am trying to buy 8 tickets on SW for May.. I already books our flights home but not going.. They have tickets for 124.. when I put in 4 people its the 124 when I put in 8 its 174.. Why would this be happening?.. I was thinking of booking 4 than booking another 4.. but I am worried it would go up by the time I get back to book the last ones.. Thoughts anyone??

They only have 4 tickets in that 124 range (or "bucket" as I've read it described before). So book those, then book the others...

Put in 5 and see if the price stays $124, then 6, then 7, etc.

If you can book 6 at $124 do that, then book the other 2. You get the idea.

This happened before when were flying with 8 as well. As others have said, they only have so many seats per price. I had two windows open. I did as the PP suggested and put in 4,5 etc do get how many were available at the cheaper price. I clicked to buy those. On the second session, I then put in the other tickets I needed.
