Southwest with multiple gift cards

I am purchasing flights for 3 of us. I want to use five $100 Southwest gift cards and pay for the rest with a credit card.

Anyone with experience booking Southwest with multiple payment types? Will it let me enter that many different gift cards and pay the final amount with a regular card?

You can use 3 gift cards plus a credit card per purchase. Since you have 5 gift cards, you'll need to do 2 separate purchases. I'd personally just do each direction as a separate purchase.

Excellent idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I was worried I'd have to book one of us separately from the others. Doing the trip down on one transaction and the trip back on another transaction makes much more sense.
