Southwest with infant and car seat

On the Southwest website it says there is a special fare for infants in a car seat but you have to call to book it. Can anyone confirm if this is less than the adult fare?

Probably not. Usually special fares are a percentage off the highest full price fare. Usually the get away fares are cheaper

We looked into this for our daughter for our last trip. It was not cheaper than our fares.

Yeah, we called them about it for our trip and if you can get a "wanna get away" fare it is much cheaper than the infant price.
