Southwest Wanna Get Away Fares dissapeared

2 days ago, every flight time for our return from LAX in June had a Wanna Get Away Fare, then yesterday they ALL became unavailable. Has anyone ever seen them come back? No way am I am paying $571 pp one way from LAX-BOS

It is possible that they are sold out on that flight for that fare category. If that is the case/reason then they would only come back if someone cancels or changes their flight, thus making them available again.

I've know they sell out of that fare on flights, but for an entire day's flight to sell out of WGA at once seems odd

Is it the weekend before July 4? It's possible Southwest thinks they'll be able to sell the remainder of their seats without discounting. I'd keep looking. You may not get the best fare but you should be able to do better then fully refundable.

edited to add. Try to book 8 passengers, the maximum allowed. If 8 seats aren't available, at any fare, the flight is close to selling out. In that case discounted seats might never be available.

I've seen that happen for flights I was watching to Vegas a couple years ago. The next day the fares were listed again.

nothing unusual. Wanna get away fares come and go every day. I dont know the logic. One day they are there, gone the next day, then reappear again the following day. Probably linked to some capacity within that fare class which fluctuates day to day.

They're not sold out this far in advance. SW is seeing how many seats they can sell at the higher price. They'll then open up the lower rates. I would not expect the best prices this many months before your trip.
