Southwest Vouchers Question

I recently got back from Texas. Our flight was grounded on the tarmac for a while and I was contacted by Southwest when I got home and awarded vouchers. I was really impressed with their customer service!

Now I'm wondering if I can use the Southwest vouchers for a flight I will book with Air Tran for Spring 2015 travel. They are both owned by Southwest.

Does anyone know if the vouchers are interchangeable?

Air Tran's last flight is December 28th. After that, all flights are Southwest.

Southwest opened dates through April 6 yesterday. Next release is October 27 for flights through June 5.
