Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I searched and couldn't find anything. I have a SW personal credit card that I got about 4 years ago. I'm wanting to get 2 cards now that they're having the 50,000 bonus points so we can get the companion pass. We do have a business, so could I get the business and the premier cards, or do I need to cancel my personal card first?

My husband just applied for the personal and business premier cards, his first ever with SW. The personal was approved immediately, but business was denied twice and took multiple calls to the reconsideration line. We have awesome credit and a legit business (rental with years of documented income and expenses) and I had no problem getting approved a couple years ago. Just want to make everyone aware that they seem to have tightened up a lot for the business card. Each time they sounded like it was going through, then rejected for a different reason. I think it is finally approved, but won't really believe it until we have the card in hand.

I have had the premier card for more than 2 years, just got the plus card and will be getting another 50,000 miles. I love Southwest.

I would wait until you get the 2 new SW Visa accounts then cancel your old SW Visa!
