Southwest Visa points question

I grabbed the SW Visa recently to get the 50k free points. My most recent monthly statement on the *chase*/credit card end completed two days ago and reflects my 50k bonus plus incidental points, but as of today those points still don't appear on my Rapid Rewards account. I know they are linked correctly because the previous months' points showed up, I just didn't notice at the time so I don't know how long it took.

How long is the gap before each month's Chase Southwest credit card's points are transferred to your actual RR account?

Thanks.

Have any points posted to your Southwest account? The earned points should post in 2-3 days. The bonus points might not post until your next billing cycle. Most reports show that you need to qualify for the bonus points at least 7 days before your billing cycle closes in order to see those points post immediatly.

First month with the card, ~1800 points posted and transferred to RR, so just shy of the (I think) $2000 requirement for 50k. Credit card statement dated July 26, but I don't know when those points transferred to Rapid Rewards. I probably didn't notice until a week or two later.

This month's Chase statement is complete as of Aug 26th, and shows the 50k bonus (which I would have qualified for early in the cycle, I guess) as well as incidental points. RR site still only reflects those initial ~1800 pts from last month.

I think I'm just spoiled by my other rewards cards which give you the points immediately after the transaction posts. Plus I am waiting on those points to book some flights. :)

Thanks for responses.

When I first got my card (1.5 years ago) I remember there being some clause about not having access to points for several weeks after the card is initially issued. I know this because my friend and I both got cards for an upcoming trip, but I applied about a month before her, and her points weren't going to be available for use for 2 more weeks, and she was upset because the sale fares had just come out. That said, there is a short delay between what I see on Chase.com and my RR account on SW's website. Maybe a few days.
