Hi. Last trip we flew SW from PVD to MCO and had a rental. This time were doing ME. I have heard SW doesn't have check in at the resort but do they still get your bags for you when you arrive and transport them to your resort (staying at FW). Or do I have to wait in the baggage claim to get our bags. I think I'm confusing two different processes. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Joe

I found my answer. Thanks anyway.

You had it right to begin with; SWA passengers can use all inbound DME services, including luggage transfer. SWA passengers cannot use the RAC to check bags when going home, except for those staying at POP where SWA is conducting its RAC test.

DME will transfer your luggage (as long as it has the DME tag on it) from MCO to your resort for free. It usually takes about 3 hours or so for the luggage to arrive in your room.

On your return trip, you need to take your luggage to the bus, the driver will store it underneath, then claim it off the bus when you get to MCO, then check it in with Southwest.
