Hi all,
For those of you who have done the Southwest Splendors, do you have any travel tips for the return flight? I have a client flying back to Hartford, CT, and on every day but their departure date there's a flight with only one connection. On theirs, the flight to Phoenix is moved to an earlier time, so the timing doesn't work -- so I have a couple in their 70s connecting in both Phoenix and Charlotte. Not good.
Alternately, I can get them nonstop on USAir to Phoenix, but if I want only one connection on the way back, it's AA at over $800 one-way. Ugh.
So... I just wondered if anyone added a day on their own in Grand Junction, or if there was a clever way to get to another airport that is escaping me. These folks aren't frequent travelers, so I'm trying to make the departure as simple as possible. I don't want them to remember the whole trip by the way it ended!
Thanks in advance!
Dotti
