I think I read somewhere that by showing your SW Rapid Rewards card, you can get 20% off tickets at the gate. Can anyone verify this? And does SW actually send you a rewards card, or do you print it up when you sign up online? I signed up a few weeks ago, and I little picture of a card popped up, but I didn't print it. :confused3 Do they send cards in the mail, too?

Thanks

Yes, this is true. You should have printed the paper card that popped up on line when you registered...I don't remember them actually sending me any hard copy card. Go back on line and see if you can access it again, or really any page with your Southwest # on it will do and print that. You really do get 20 percent off with it at the gate...and then you can validate once in the park for your second day free during that week! A great deal and an awesome park! have fun!

Thanks! I was able to go to SW's website and print a card. It has my name and SW RR number on it...I hope that's enough! 20% off is a great deal!

Thanks again :)

I have used this twice now with no problems--in Oct 2005 and most recently just two weeks ago. I had printed the paper card from the website (never received a hard card, so doubt SWA sends one). I simply went to the ticket window and asked if they still took the SWA card and they said yes. I showed it and received 20% off.

This is probably a better solution than the Pepsi discount being discussed, in case you are worried about being a Pepsi associate or employee. The SWA discount is for anyone with a Rapid Rewards card/membership--whether or not you fly SWA. Simply go to their website to sign up and print your card.

20% discount is valid with SouthWest Rapid Rewards although I prefer the pepsi (still 20%) discount because you purchase the tix online (direct from Sea World website, click "Promo Code" and enter "PEPSI") and you don't have to wait in line to purchase tix at the gate. I don't believe the pepsi discount is an employee-only code as I used it with no questions asked as have many DISers. Either way, 20% off is a great deal, so go with whichever option you feel most comfortable.

Also, just to be assured, the extended pass (6 add'l days, consecutive) is valid with ANY paid admission so be sure to stop at the guest services window (just inside turnstiles on left) to get your extra days and pic taken.

One more bit of advice: probably best to get extended pass taken care of early in the day to avoid lines of others doing same at end of day.

(Hope I'm not being redundant, just trying to condense some of the best DIS advice I found on the boards prior to our trip.) :disrocks:
