Southwest Schedule Opening-Who's Awake and Pressing Refresh?

Has anyone actually been able to book flights? It says it's open to June 1, but I'm still not allowed to book anything past April 9.

It was showing me flights past that date but then it reverted back to nothing past April 9th. So the new schedule was up briefly then disappeared.

Me too, twice I was able to select the dates I wanted but when I tried to book it said the dates were unavialable.

I was able to book and then tried to go back and see what the fares were doing and they weren't accepting bookings.:confused3

I must have slipped in some kind of window that shut again.

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Anyway, I got Hartford to Orlando on Friday April 13th for $99 base/ 109 total!!!!

Which is what I wanted as we are flying Jetblue on the way back into Hartford for the same price!

So worth the extra hour of driving when 5 people are flying!!!!!

How did everyone else do?

Keep trying people!

I got in again and then it shot me out!

Keep at it! They are obviously opening it soon!

I find that if you back up to the 9th, it will show the open schedule!

Providence and Boston are high but Hartford is still $99

I got in! Got my tix for $99 direct flight. Great price. Good luck everyone!

Seriously....MHT TO MCO one way 230 and up???

Fares opened up sometime between 6:05 and 6:15 for anyone wondering.

PVD, BOS, and MHT were $200-$250 each way, but for some reason, BDL is only $99/$129 each way.

Just booked three of us for April school vacation for $684 plus fees and taxes! SO worth being up since 5 a.m.! Woohoo!:cheer2:

By the way, it is flukey--clearly all the updating is not done because once you'll get the "Oops" screen and you hit enter again and the schedule comes up. Keep trying!

We only used 7800 points each flight so I'm happy. My goal was under 8,000 per flight. We did have to change out dates by one day flying out, but that's ok.:goodvibes
MHT-MCO 129 each way.

I was just checking out PVD vs BDL for April vacation. I'm really surprised BDL is so cheap and still totally available. Is this typical for April school vacation? On Feb. vacation the flights came out much higher in BDL and sold very quickly.

I booked 4/19 MHT - TPA at $140 (I waffled on this one thinking it will go down but booked to get it done - now it's up to $179) and 4/29 MCO - MHT at $130! It's an earlier flight home than we'd like (9am) but considering how high those Sunday flights departing MCO have been, I'm very happy. Plus I had about $300 worth of credits to use. Spent under $1000 so I'm happy.

So we are taking Jet blue down and southwest home....

again OUCH. We got cheaper flights in and out of Tampa and that works well for us as my sister lives 20 minutes from that airport.

I can answer that question as I was monitoring flight prices out of BDL.

They seemed to be $129 base just like PVD, but then around a month ago, all BDL prices dropped to $99 base or lowest price and stayed there.

Its a small international airport. Maybe it was affected by that government congress FTA bill funding thing?:confused3

All I know is that we left Cape Cod last year around 12 AM, arrived around 3:30 parked off site and shuttled in around 4 AM or so.

Our flight left at 6 AM and Southwest did not open until 5AM. :confused3 We were first in line. But this was a Wednesday.

Congrats to everyone who got a good deal! :dance3: It was so worth staying up all night to get the 6 am something flight on Friday morning.

I feel driving to Hartford or Windsor Locks really is worth the cost difference when you have 5 people flying. :)

We have been flying over April vacation out of Hartford for a few years now and have never seen the prices this low. But, I am not complaining! Got $99 each way non stop. Very Excited! I think we paid almost double that last year.

SW site was sooo frustrating this morning, but I'm doing the happy dance:banana::banana:!

I was finallly able to book PVD to MCO after continuous refreshing since 5 AM and being teased by SW since 6 AM. I was happily surprised by the opening rates and booked one set of our group at $129/$146 ($296 each)and the other set at $146/$146 ($313 each). MA Spring Break dates in high demand. So worth gettting up early now that I take another peek at the current fares

Not feasible to book Hartford on this trip, but I'm keeping it in my back pocket for the future. Can't beat $99. Congrats to everyone!

Good thing I saw this! I thought it was 10/5 for new dates! I got PIT-MCO for 16,136 points, 4/28 to 5/4. Would have been $293 roundtrip.
