Darn it! Thanks for posting but my fares didn't go down! However, it looks like they opened up more WGA seats on my flights, which were previously sold out at that level.

Flights in Oct from SD to Chicago dropped 3600 pts per ticket!! Whoo Hoo!! Now only 7800 pts!

Saved $64. But now I have to fly somewhere before May 7. Hmmmm........

Just booked my tickets earlier today. The sale is from today until this Thursday. If you get a southwest rewards credit card, you get a $100 statement credit after your first purchase of the tickets.

Looks like we are going to visit my in-laws now in AZ for our vacation before school starts. I wonder if DS will have his first experience of 120 degrees.

Love SW. Just re-did my four flights for a savings of 14K points and NO FEES!!!

Just saved 12000 points - enough for another trip!!

:teeth: Just rebooked our Dec trip and saved 1900 pts per return flight. Flights out are higher, but we always book one ways, so we get refunds if either segment goes on sale! I love booking SW on points for the easy changes and refunds.

Our flights for October went down both ways. I was able to get 3 $30 credits, 1 for each of us.
The rep said I have until May 19, 2016 to use the credits ( 1 yr from original purchase). That is when I have to BUY tickets using the credits correct? Not when I have to FLY by?
We want to crash my 12 he olds 8th grade trip to DC next year but that isn't until October 2016.

I think you actually need to fly by that date
Yep! You must actually TRAVEL within one year of the original date of purchase. In the OP's case, that would mean completing travel bu 5/19/16.

I just saved 10,000 points from Chicago to Orlando and back in November and it didn't cost me a dime. I LOVE Southwest!!!

Thanks for posting OP!:jumping2: You just saved me a whole bunch of points for our upcoming flights (3 trips x 4 people!) woohoo!!!!

Just saved $110 for our Fort Lauderdale trip. Extremely happy that SW applied the price difference to the original price of the ticket.

No sale for my flights. Only much higher for 2 of them, and no change for the other 2.
