I have been reading all the great advice about Southwest while waiting for them to open up dates for late Semptember but have a question that I did not see a specific answer to.

What I have read says to book ressies one way as they are easier to change if dings come out or a better sale etc. My question is there are 4 of us traveling DH, myself, DS7 and DS5. Do I book all 4 tickers seperatly one way each which would give me 8 different reservations or can I do 4 one way down and 4 one way back, it seems like it would be a pain to have 8 different confirmatin #'s etc to keep track of but I want to get the ticket cheaper using ding etc if I can, hoping to save the credit for another trip in the spring.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Do all 4 together on one ways so you will have 2 ressies with 4 on each one.

that's what we did too...two one way tickets there and 2 one way tickets home again (just DH and I)

In fact, I just got a sale email last week and only one leg of our trip was still available at the sale price. It was so easy to just change the one leg to the sale price and leave the other leg alone. If I had purchased round trip tickets, I would have had to cancel the entire reservation, book the sale price for our 1st leg, then rebook our flight home at a higher price!
