I have Rapid Awards that I will not be able to use. Does anyone know if you are able to sell these on ebay?

I think the awards themselves are not sellable. Ie EBAY will shut it down.... But some have got their auctions through by saying they are selling "drink coupons" with an award voucher included.

Do you have any friends or relatives you could give them to, or barter with, or something?

another option would be to get SWA to extend the rapid reward for another year at a cost of 50$ ( it would kick in from the date of new issue not the expiry date )


it is also possible to do this option with "expired" rapiid rewards if you have the "paper work"....ie the codes for each of the rapid rewards segments

I sell mine all the time on ebay, as a buy it now for $350. Actually I give them away and sell a Southwest t-shirt or a pack of southwest peanuts with a free reward ticket. I put it up later evening, and so far, so good. I then send the item via mail using DC. I then book their first flight, and after that they can make their own changes (except one person needed a name change after the ressies were made and I had to do that for them.

DMRick- I have posted on 2X ebay, but they pulled the auction, saying it is not allowed. Have you been able to get around this. One was a buy it now auction.
