Southwest RAC questions

I see that Southwest has joined the RAC

I don't understand a few things though.

We still have to checkin at Southwest .com to get a better boarding pass at the 24 hour mark, right? Or do early bird checkin? We are not relying on Disney to check us in. right?

IF we do our own checkin via mobile web or early bird then RAC will simply print out our boarding passes and leave on our door (our flight is at 3pm). These boarding passes will have the A or B since we either checked in at 24 hour ourselves or had early bird.

To do the RAC we simply bring down our luggage in the morning and give it to them. We should already have our boarding passes or we could print them at the airport at a Kiosk.

Also we are doing a split stay. So any RAC stuff would be done at our second resort (AKL) right? We have the DME all ready separated so that we arrive at POP and then depart from AKL. This is separate from the RAC. right? Do I need to add RAC to our reservation at the AKL? This is just an option when we arrive, not something we have to sign up for before we get to Disney right?

Am I missing something? Thank you for any help!

They will probably print them out for you when you check in though - not positive about what RAC will do in this case.

Yes, just bring the bags down and yes, you can go to the airport and print out your passes. You can also ask Guest Services to print them for you as well.
